Behind the facades of our kitchens we try to incorporate as many labour saving devices as we can. There are any number of pull-out drawers, corner carousels, re-cycling waste units etc; to choose from. We will also design drawer interiors that can be sub-divided to your requirements. These refinements all help to make a kitchen that is idividually tailored to your needs.
The first six pictures on this Gallery page show a 'new build'. The client wanted to incorporate as many of these labour saving devices behind the country/Shaker style doors as possible. As this kitchen had no shortage of storage, display space was incorporated in the glazed dresser and plate rack section. The range has been set in a mock chimney breast to give interest to a room that had straight walls and no features. The end curved cabinet is a feature we use quite often, it softens the end of a unit run and makes room access much more 'user friendly'.
The final two pictures are of a country house conversion, a kitchen and dining room were knocked into one. This area at the rear of the house had always been dark. To maximise the light the client chose to have the kitchen cabinets painted cream, this together with the dark granite (which reflects the available light around the room) made the space a much more friendly place to be.
