We are pleased to announce the agency of collections from five top French manufacturers. Antix, Boissigny, Carnac Couture, Jean Piffeteau and Groupe De Bournais. Each brings French style and craftmanship with designs from country classic to Parisian chic. Manufactured in various woods from Oak to Cherry, some pieces have degrees of 'aged' finishes to high quality paint effects.
Dutch designer, Christian Harold, provides us with a more contemporary look. We carry two of his Oak collections, Ardennes and Willow (access to other ranges available). Ardennes has more that forty pieces in the range. The collection focuses on the natural splendour of the wood with simple lines and an oiled finish to accentuate the grain and colour. Willow aims for a more graceful and refined look, reminisent of the Arts and Crafts movement, using seasoned American Oak and decorative Pippy Oak veneers. All Christian Harold's ranges provide tremendous value for money.
With a hightened interest in the sustainability of materials and the effect on the environment we have sought reassurance from our suppliers that their company policies ensure the care that we now expect in a more enlightened society. Materials used are sourced from sustainable forests in both France, Europe and in the case of the Willow range, America. Working conditions and pay are of international standards so living and working life is better in those communities.
