A challenging space to work with.  Beams, uneven walls and floors.  All the character one could wish for.  However, careful planning was necessary to design an efficient yet inviting environment.   The larder cupboard is a wonderful use of space, with storage on the doors for smaller readily to hand items and easily accessible shelves and baskets. Elsewhere as many drawers as possible have been used to limit having to bend too often.  Our client also wished to surprise by using a splash of Red inside the larder and the wall mounted display cabinet.  It is seen again in the window treatments and the armchair to great effect.
